ONGC Videsh receives Golden Peacock Award for Risk Management
ONGC Videsh received Golden Peacock Award for Risk Management 2017 instituted by the Institute of Directors (IOD) on 14th December 2017 during Global Convention on Corporate Ethics & Risk Management held at Singapore.

A presentation on the Enterprise Risk Management system at ONGC Videsh bringing out its major initiatives and distinguished features was presented in the Global Convention at Singapore by Mr. Arun Mittal, Head – Risk.
Mr. Narendra Kumar Verma, Managing Director, while complimenting Team ONGC Videsh on this achievement, exhorted to keep momentum and achieve greater heights in risk management and sustainability practices, leading to improved organizational performance.

Enterprise Risk Management system was established in ONGC Videsh in April 2012 with in-house efforts and was further aligned with ISO 31000:2009, an international standard on Risk Management. The system has matured over the years and well integrated into business processes of the company. It is underpinned by a set of principles and includes the exercise of identification, assessment and prioritization of risks followed by coordinated application of resources to monitor, control and minimize the probability and impact of unexpected events.
The receipt of award is a recognition that ONGC Videsh has taken significant initiatives in Enterprise Risk Management to enhance its governance and sustainability practices.
ओएनजीसी विदेश को जोखिम प्रबंधन के लिए गोल्डेन पिकॉक पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुआ
ओएनजीसी विदेश ने सिंगापुर में आयोजित ग्लोबल कन्वेंशन ऑन कॉरपोरेट इथिक्स एंड रिस्क मैनेजमेंट के दौरान 14 दिसंबर 2017 को इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ डाइरेक्टर्स (आईओडी) द्वारा संस्थापित जोखिम प्रबंधन के लिए गोल्डेन पिकॉक पुरस्कार 2017 प्राप्त किया।

सिंगापुर में वैश्विक सम्मेलन में श्री अरुण मित्तल, प्रमुख – जोखिम द्वारा ओएनजीसी विदेश में उद्यम जोखिम प्रबंधन प्रणाली पर अपनी प्रमुख पहलों और विशिष्ट विशेषताओं को बताते हुए एक प्रस्तुति प्रस्तुत की गई थी।
श्री नरेन्द्र कुमार वर्मा, प्रबंध निदेशक, इस उपलब्धि पर टीम ओएनजीसी विदेश की सराहना करते हुए, इस सिलसिला को बनाए रखने और जोखिम प्रबंधन और संधारणीयता संव्यवहारों में उच्चतर उपलब्धियां हासिल करने के लिए प्रेरित किया, जिससे संगठनात्मक प्रदर्शन में सुधार होगा।

ओएनजीसी विदेश में अप्रैल 2012 में आंतरिक प्रयासों से उद्यम जोखिम प्रबंधन प्रणाली स्थापित की गयी थी और जिसे आगे जोखिम प्रबंधन संबंधी एक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मानक आईएसओ 31000:2009 से संरेखित किया गया था। यह प्रणाली पिछले कुछ वर्षों में परिपक्व हुई है और कंपनी की व्यावसायिक प्रक्रियाओं से काफी अच्छी तरह जुड़ गयी है। इसे सिद्धांतों के एक समूह द्वारा रेखांकित किया गया है और इसमें जोखिमों की पहचान, मूल्यांकन और प्राथमिकता निर्धारण की कवायद और उसके बाद अप्रत्याशित घटनाओं की संभावना और प्रभाव की निगरानी करने, उसको नियंत्रित करने और न्यूनीकरण करने के लिए संसाधनों का समन्वित अनुप्रयोग शामिल है।
पुरस्कार की प्राप्ति एक अभिपुष्टि है कि ओएनजीसी विदेश ने अपने अभिशासन और संधारणीयता संव्यवहारों को बढ़ाने के लिए उद्यम जोखिम प्रबंधन में महत्वपूर्ण पहलें की हैं।
